Relationship Therapy

My background is in sociology, anthropology, and folklore which informs my theoretical perspective. Nearly all of my clinical work has been with relationships. My standard of care includes careful assessment, clear goals, and open feedback every step along the way.

Addiction Counseling

Through my history with working for inpatient and outpatient addiction recovery,  my services are best supportive through the outpatient, lifelong part of recovery for folx looking for ongoing recovery maintenance.

Multicultural Identity

I acknowledge the impact of minority stress on many folx of socially marginalized communities which can cause layers of distress. I work with clients through unpacking these layers towards a liberated sense of self.

  • AA & NHPI immigration  identity

I am currently an Out-of-Network provider meaning I can issue Superbills for clients to submit to insurance companies for reimbursement. I cannot guarantee that insurance will cover sessions. Fees are due at the time of service.

  • I may have some debt but it does not prohibit attainment of basic needs

  • I am employed or do not need to work to meet my needs
  • I have access to financial savings
  • I have an expendable** income (expendable income might mean you are able to buy coffee or tea at a shop, go to the movies or a concert, buy new clothes, books, and similar items each month, etc.)
  • I can always buy new items
  • I can afford an annual vacation or take time off


Consider paying in the middle if...

  • I may stress about meeting my basic needs but still regularly achieve them
  • I may have some debt but it does not prohibit attainment of basic needs
  • I own or lease a car
  • I am employed
  • I might have access to financial savings
  • I have some expendable income
  • I am able to buy some new items & I thrift others
  • I can take a vacation annually or every few years without financial burden


Consider paying less if...

  • I frequently stress about meeting basic needs & don’t always achieve them
  • I have debt and it sometimes prohibits me from meeting my basic needs
  • I rent lower-end properties or have unstable housing
  • I do not have a car and/or have limited access to a car but I am not always able to afford gas
  • I am unemployed or underemployed
  • I qualify for government assistance including food stamps & health care
  • I have no access to savings
  • I have no or very limited expendable income
  • I rarely buy new items because I am unable to afford them
  • I cannot afford a vacation or have the ability to take time off without financial burden

My coaching style is accessible nationally and  is shorter and more fixed than talk therapy. I offer individualized coaching for adoptive parents, high conflict couples, and adoptees looking for guidance on building specific skills.

LAC and LMFT Supervision

I am able to help with supervision for someone working towards licensure in Addiction Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy in the state of Colorado. I am an AAMFT Approved Supervisor in Training under the mentorship of Jessica Kruckeberg, LMFT-S, CST
