My name is Laura X. Williams (she/her+). I am also called 魏倪香。

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (CO), Licensed Addiction Counselor (CO), ISEE Certified Holistic Sex Therapist, and AASECT Certified Sex Therapist practicing in Denver, Colorado specifically where the Arapaho people have connected and lived with respect to the land way before settler-colonialism. My practice acknowledges the need for meaningful dialogue around how we came to be and that includes ancestral wisdom and practice. 

I value human connection, authenticity, and healing justice in my practice of psychotherapy and in community building. Whether you are an individual seeking identity/belonging , in a couple navigating complex dynamics , or a family moving through life transitions , I am here to support you. 


My experience ranges from transracial adoption/foster care, to substance-use counseling, to couples/families navigating diverse relationships, intimacy/communication issues, and friendship conflict. If you see yourself in conflict with yourself, others, or the world, I might be a meaningful part of your journey. 


I am influenced by the theoretical frameworks of Emotionally Focused Therapy , Internal Family Systems , and Compassionate Inquiry. How I navigate the world as a queer Chinese American Transracial Adoptee, also impacts my style.
